Poetry Writing Workshop
Join us for an inspiring poetry writing workshop led by acclaimed poet and Saratoga Springs Poet Laureate, Joseph Bruchac, PhD. This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned poets alike, offering a supportive environment to explore and develop your poetic voice.

Poetry Open Mic Night
Join us for a captivating evening of poetry at The Real McCoy Beer Company's Open Mic Night! Hosted by Ballston Spa native, writer, poet, and teacher, MC Steven Guilfoyle, this event promises to be a celebration of creativity and community.
Whether you're a seasoned poet or trying out your first poem, all are welcome to share their words in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Come to listen, come to share, and come to connect with fellow poetry enthusiasts!

Carry the magic of poetry with you throughout April with "Poetry in your Pocket"! In partnership with local businesses in Ballston Spa, we're bringing you a month-long event that invites you to discover and share the beauty of poetry. Look out for buckets at the checkout tables of participating businesses, filled with poems for you to take and keep with you. Let these poems accompany you on your daily adventures, inspiring and uplifting you whenever you need a moment of reflection. Join us in spreading the joy of poetry this Poetry Month!
